Cosmoprof 2023
After May 2022, the 2023 edition of Cosmoprof saw more international visitors return. Friday and Saturday were therefore particularly busy. Nelson Mobilier presented five new products with a resolutely minimalist look. The black colour, the lines, and the formal cleanliness of the new products drew attention.
In terms of materials, steel made a comeback in a matt back finish. As featured on the chair bases last year, this extended to all items on display. The gold and glossy black profile seen last year on the Ovalis and the Bar Miroir mirrors is back in a larger version to enrich the double-sided mirrors on Scamnum 4P and the Circolus mirror. The oval steel frame extending from the Circolus mirror attracted many admirers as did the Scamnum 4P for its practical matt black worktop combined with gloss and matt black details. Fully equipped with drawers and electrical sockets, the 4-station island proved to be an attractive focal point for the stand. As did the Ovalis Double mirror presented for the first time in black.
The Iron Black Chair, which echoes the Iron Black Wash unit with its black steel armrests, offers the client an upright position, like the Barbizon, while still offering plenty of space. The Iron Black Wash has also optimized the use of space by offering a freestanding fixed wash column and movable chair, recalling the convenience of the Sofa Plus wash. The coordinated look between the chair and wash unit is a welcome addition. As only the second static shampoo unit in the range, it will be interesting to see how the Iron Black Wash fares with its distinct design. The Scamnum Desk puts the look of a large reception into a smaller, more versatile version. Also in this case the combination of glossy black and matt black was appreciated and the central disc will certainly find some customers who will apply their logo. Being suspended with the structure of the legs in sight, it immediately attracted attention. It was also interesting to see how Kuawash and Topwash All Black benefited from being presented with these minimalist products.
